Evelien Verpeet represents a diverse array of clients. Some of her matters are high asset, complex dissolution cases involving privately held companies, hedge funds, and venture capital firms. Others are more straight forward, involving basic property division, support determination, and custody arraignments.
Before joining Hanson Crawford Crum, Evelien was a civil litigator for over ten years. Her experience ranges from initial pleadings and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation. She has worked with experts, led teams of attorneys on complex high-profile matters, and managed e-discovery issues. Evelien also has extensive deposition experience. In addition to her civil litigation practice, Evelien has substantial experience handling pro bono matters relating to women and refugee rights. Evelien is fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
Evelien graduated at the top of her class at UC Davis School of Law, where she was Editor of the Law Review.
When not at work, Evelien enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three boys.
