Jennifer Crum has practiced family law since her admission to the California Bar in 1996. She is a Certified Family Law Specialist.  Jennifer is experienced in complex marital property, spousal and child support, and child custody issues.  Jennifer’s experience includes the valuation and/or division of sophisticated business interests, including venture capital, hedge fund and complicated real estate structures.

Jennifer is skilled in various case processes including litigation, collaborative law, and mediation. She has represented clients through all phases of litigation before private judges and in the public courthouses. Jennifer is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of California, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Prior to joining the Hanson Crawford Crum Family Law Group, LLP in 2003, Jennifer practiced family law in San Francisco, representing high asset clients with both complex custody issues and complex financial matters.  While attending law school, Jennifer clerked for the late Commissioner Melissa Toben, a family law judge of the San Francisco Superior Court, and she worked as a summer associate and third year law clerk for the nationally recognized family law attorney, Diana Richmond, Esq.  In addition, Jennifer volunteered as a mediator for pro per litigants going through divorce.

Jennifer is a specialist in family law, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She also serves as Secretary on the Board of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS).  

Publications

Jennifer co-authored an article entitled “How Can My Divorcing Clients Plan Their Estates with the ATROs in the Way?”, which was published in the ACFLS Newsletter and in the California Trust & Estates Quarterly.  She has been a frequent presenter on this topic.
